Nice.   Just hope you don't have issues with the top on the vertical ones.   Looks like there is a lip that will hold rain water on the OSB tops.

Yeah, a friend mentioned that this morning. I am going to get some pie plates or something to take care of that. Thanks! :)

Plastic bucket lids would be a good option if you have access to free ones (deli, painters, etc).   I use them on bluebird houses.

Hope you catch some swarms with those.  I prefer 5 frame nucs with foundationless frames in them but to each his own.  Good luck.

Those look really good, but like BTS, I prefer 5 frame nucs with frames in them. You still have to do a cut out of sorts and all I need to do is transfer some frames over.
those hot bees will have you steppin and a fetchin like your heads on fire and your keister is a catchin!!!

Bees will be bees and do as they please!

Yes, I know that with the vertical ones I will have to cut them out, and that these can only be used for swarm traps, unlike a dual purpose nuc. BUT, THE TUBE WAS FREE! I couldn't pass that up! :-D

Sometimes free isn't exactly free to me.  I've learned that my time is worth money and the extra time spent cutting them out would make these traps a burden for me.  I don't have enough time to go around now.
