Don't laugh to hard  :-D  I was nervous LOL

cheap spray bottle = cheap performance,

I did not get stung I was trying to shake the bees of my glove,

yes my shirt is buttoned crooked the buttons were backwards!,

yes those are pink flowered gardening gloves,

no I did not squish a pile of bees when I smacked down the package the package had legs of sorts and the angle of the camera makes it look like I squished the bees,

No I did not kill the queen with the screwdriver

Enjoy! :)

Any narration of a package installation that ends with the words "I did not kill the queen with the screwdriver"  is a winner.  :-D

 Well done.

You did well Lori!! You did not seem intimidated at all.

Nice job! You didn't seem nervous at all!
Reminds me of when I installed a package of bees my first time - two weeks ago.
I was a bit nervous but was pleasantly surprised that it went smoothly.

Nice work.  Everyone was a beginner at one point.  We all remember the first install because it was such a thrill.

Well done, but you forgot to kiss the queen!  :-* :lau:

You did a great job thanks for the video! There's such a rush when you introduce a hive. I saw four in one week and it hooked me on beekeeping.

Congrats!  A job well done.

So far, I have only attempted swarms - where the fun is in the capture.  Then it's just...open box and pour.   :bee:

Great job!!! I love the video. I installed my first two packages two weeks ago. It was absolutely a thrill. Actually the first package went better than the second. Maybe if I wore your gloves the second one would have gone as smooth as the first.  ;^)

Great Job Lori. It may not have seemed that way but you kept calm and did not make any big mistakes.

Thanks for sharing the video.

Nothing like that feeling you get that first time you're right in the middle of a cloud of buzzing bees, and trying to remember to do all those things that you read about a hundred times.

Life is too short not to stop and watch the bees.

It looked fine to me. I have never directly released the queen, but many here say it is fine.

Good luck with your new adventure.
