Hello, My name is Mike; I'm an aspiring Beekeeper I am in complete ignorance when it comes to the techniques or anything else that having to do with bees. I have read a little on the subject but nothing as far as real world knowledge.  I did get a copy of "Beekeeping for dummies", as the title seemed to be the perfect title for me to start with. Right now I am working in Taiwan as an English teacher but in a few years I will be living in the Philippines with my wife. I have spent a great deal of time trying to figure out a way to make a living there. I have settled on Mushroom farming and beekeeping. So any Pinoy Beekeepers, Kumusta? And hello to all the apiarists on the forum.. :-D

Thanks for the welcome everyone I know how tiring it can get. Welcoming new members to a forum I'm a Moderator for Auqaponics HQ. If anyone needs help with that topic I can help :)

Welcome to the forum, Mike.  If you have any questions just ask, someone here can answer it.  There are a lot of things you can find on You tube also.  Good luck with your bees.

Thanks everyone, for the welcome. Really what to start keeping bees here in Taiwan. But can't seem to find anything on the net of any help. Did find a bee museum. I know there is a lot of bee keeping going, As Taiwan is a top producer of royal Jelly.
