my first year of raising bees, extracted my super and got 30lbs of honey. probably not of honey for you guys but pretty exciting :)
A swarm of bees in May is worth a load of hay; A swarm of bees in June is worth a silver spoon; A swarm of bees in July isn't worth a fly.

I remember the feeling well. Only I didn't get half that much my first year.

30lbs of honey would last me nearly an entire year.  Good on ya =)
