Hi, I'm a newbee interested in starting the hobby of beekeeping this coming spring. I'm spending all my free time reading all that I can about beekeeping.

Ditto that. Clubs often offer beginning beekeeping classes, and are great places to find mentors and get connected to nearby beekeepers:

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I've been in touch with with someone at my local beekeeping club, and should be attending my first meeting in November. I also just got a new book!
