What happen to Brian? I don't see his post anymore.

I looked he hasn't been on here since Oct of 2011

I would guess that he went off the grid.  Cindi has been off for a while also.

When I first signed on both of them greeted me and Brian talked with me some about building slatted racks...then both of them went silent.  I'm thinking Brian was having some health issues?  Cindi, I don't know about but I do miss her flowery comments. :)

These figures don't include 70,000 MIA.  But, the leaders of one political party of the United States of America continue to make the statement..."What difference does it make?".

Yep, I miss both of them for their very 'pleasant' commentaries on many subjects, not just beekeeping.

Brian was especially informative and helpful.  In reviewing several of their old posts (reviewing archives remains one of my favorite pastimes), they both also suffered considerable abuse from some forum posters here at BeeMaster.  I guess we shouldn't blame them for leaving as many others have done over the years (the archives are unfortunately filled with them  :(

That said; during my own forced hiatus  ;) I found several other beekeeping forums out there, none as active, informative (or entertaining) as BeeMaster though.

I stayed in touch with Cindi after she moved by email.   After a while that also stopped.   I dont ever remember anyone being abusive to either of them.

T Beek

They were both too kind to complain IMO

i stayed in touch with cindi for a bit also.  then she just kind of quit talking.

as for brian and any abuse, he was a pretty crusty fellow  :-D  i don't remember him taking or giving abuse, but that doesn't mean that he agreed with everyone.  if disagreement = abuse, we have gotten pretty twitchy.

In just the short time I had to get to know them I would think that if someone abused them on the forum that the abuser would have been quickly put in his/her place by John or a moderator.  I can't see the forum not coming to their defense.  And, yes, kathyp, Brian didn't seem to me to be someone that would simply roll over if things got tough...after all, wasn't he working his bees out of a wheelchair?...that's dedicated *and* TOUGH! :)  As for Cindi, I don't think there was a smidgen of arguing, anger, spiteful, or anything negative in her DNA.  They are both just plain good folks...we need more of'em.

Great to see you back T Beek. X:X  You're one of those that make this place all of the above.

Remember Cindi always ended every post and thread with "You take care, have that most wonderful day, full of health, love, friendship and peace, Cindi"

Brian had a host of health issues. I noticed some of his other pages he had he has not been active on.I wish the best for him. Brian was not thin skinned and could hold up with the best of em.
As for Cindi i know she maintained a very busy home life and she and the extended family made the move to Canada.I know from chatting with Cindi in ventrilo a couple times that her family comes first before anything else. They are both greatly missed by many of us here.

Definitely two of many that I enjoyed hearing from.

I've gotta say that for the short time I conversed with them my life was enriched.  I wish them all the best, also.  God bless'em.

My guess with Cindi is that her time is being consumed with family. I dearly miss her, her posts and particularly her sign offs. She is such a sweet and kind spirited woman but that lil girl could be tough when she wanted to, like when she climbed that tree to catch a swarm, not to mention she and her husband were Harley riders. Man, she was a real trouper! If you had the chance to get to know her then you are missing a great friend.

I sent Brian a couple of PMs in the last year or so and was sure hoping to hear back from him. I sure hope he is okay he knew a heck of a lot about bees and other things. Despite his injuries which if I recall correctly occurred in the line of duty, he stayed pretty active albeit it seemed like a real struggle at times as he seemed to be in constant pain.

I really miss both of them badly and sure hope and pray they are okay.
