Strange how the rotten egg smell didn't keep them from making a new home there.

JP

Perhaps the egg smell wasn't too bad when they moved in or perhaps they didn't really mind the odor.

I removed a young hive this season from a roof space that had two large dead Norway rats almost touching the bottom comb sections. Nastiest removal I've ever done! The bees seemed to have cared less, go figure!

There is nothing worse than a dead rodent smell. I have something dead in the barn that I'm looking for today. I used some rat bait a few weeks ago. I'm hoping to stop whatever is chewing the wires off my tractor during winter.

Cant smell any worse than goldenrod honey in the making.

Tefer,
Try coating the wires with a little tobasco sauce. the rodents do not like the heat!!
And JP,ooohh the smell! That new cam almost brings the aroma too!

Someone said that red squirrels like to chew on electrical wires too. Something is cleaning out the bait stations daily. Has to be some animal that De con has no effect on. Squirrels could just be storing it in a hole somewhere. I'll try the Tabasco buzz.

those dexter knives really are the best filet knives out there..  Slice and dice ling and snapper right up!  see any woodies around?

JP

No ducks were seen this day albeit I wasn't really looking for them Duck. The Dexter's aren't bad but the original Ginsu's are the best cut out knives I've ever used. I lost mine a while back and can't seem to find them available. Came across some that wound up being bread knives but were claimed to be the originals. No such luck.

What is a reasonable price to charge for removal? I'm aware each is a little different but in general whats a good starting price?

thanks in advance :)
