anyone remember if that hotel has wifi and blow dryers??
If you have a car, hang your head out the window!! It's always warm and sunny at Buds! And there is usually Budfi if none at the hotel. :)

Larry Bees

OK, I did it !!!

Just made reservations for June and I.

Thanks to everybody that helped me with the motel name and phone number. The name is Oak Tree Inn and the phone number is: 662-726-4334.

If you have AARP the rate goes down to $64.00 + tax per night. That's for a King Size Bed. They may give discounts for other things too. I didn't ask.

June says that she will gladly help out cooking breakfast.

See you all next month.

Plan=B. Afraid of the tent, you should not be.  Add a whole different dimension to you Bud experience it will. We camped in the yard last year and will again this year.  See you there.

The motel staff is probably wondering what the heck is going on that weekend in Macon! Probably never had so many reservations at once!

With a title like Bud5, they probably think it's a beer drinking competition. :cheer:

Ian will camp for sure but he likes to stick his tent way back in the woods to commune with the ticks.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

We sure do have our fair share of gnats, but I always assumed the mosquito was our state bird... Lol...
