I am after some various detailed plans for an observation hive. 4 or 6 frame would be great. I have searched high and low on the internet but have not found some good detailed plans. Does anyone have any or could steer me in the right direction?

cheers

I've got a 5 frame deep that's a modified version of this.  http://www.beesource.com/build-it-yourself/3-frame-observation-hive-2/ Mine has a door that I strongly recommend because it make it very easy to work the hive.  Bonterra bee's who makes OB hives does sell their plans but I don't have experience with their product. http://www.bonterrabees.com/doityourselfplans.html

Are you looking for plans for a hive to keep inside a building or an outdoor hive with a viewing window that you can uncover to observe the bees?

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm after plans for an observation hive to be kept inside. I will set it up in my garage.
