Hi..New here from WNY

Hi Everyone..Extrapolate here...new member introducing myself from Western NY (North of Buffalo - Lockport / Lewiston Area)

My brother Dave got me into beekeeping just recently..I'm a total newbie..first experience was last week Wed..we did a cut out of a very large colony and succesfully (so far!) transplanted most of the hive that was in an older wood framed building to our farm..it was an awesome experience and since then want to learn more and do it again...so I added our names to the Bee removal map.

Dave lost a few hives last winter..we aren't sure why..but he was new to it also..so we are learning..looking forward to getting some help and sharing what we are doing..
