Today I removed the plastic insert underneath my screened bottom board and saw a couple things that have me concerned.... I've had this colony/hive since the beginning of March. First I saw a larvae moving around on the plastic, which I am guessing is a wax moth larvae... Second I seem around 20 varroa mites on the board...

This is a really strong hive and am wondering if there is something I need to do at this point or are these numbers of pest something a strong hive will be able to overcome?

If you have frames of pollen the bees aren't covering, remove them.  Wax moths LOVE unprotected pollen frames.

By the time the wax moth larvae are large enough to crawl there may be a bunch more small ones you overlooked.  Take a close look the pollen frames.

A strong hive can not kill varroa on it's own  :(
