I have been thinking about the same thing.   I was wondering if i could put some drawer handles on the sides to make it easier to lift them.     I have two different size honey supers for my hive one is for 8 frames the other holds 6.  I have tried to lift the one with 8 frames over at the local bee yard and i could lift it but its not something i want to do that much.   The only option i could think was to have an extra box and move each frame one at a time.

This is my first year as a bee keeper and i'm worried about how heavy things are going to get next year when the girls really start to store honey.

You could build one yourself. But this one fits well to standard langstroth box design.If you are very busy, time designing and building only one is to be considered.

I'm only about 5 ft tall and 100lbs, and I can't lift the boxes myself, so I end up lifting frames out 1 by 1 to move the boxes, or get hubby to help me lift them out.

I use a dollie to move mine.  If the hive is to heavy then I unstack the supers and restack on the dollie.  I have a 3/4 plywood piece that fits over the bottom of the dollie that is slightly bigger than a super and it sticks through the back of the dollie, it stays there.  I have looked at the two people hive carriers but I usually move them alone anyway.  Good luck

I use a dolly also for I work by myself most of the time.
I have 2 car spring leafs welded to mine.
It works great.
