I froze some frames from a hive that was robbed to death and took them out of the freezer two days ago.  I went to put them in my other hive but I saw a ton of small larva, I presume a small fly type that I saw flying around them, and they smelled.  I put them in the yard away from the hive to let the bees take what they want then melt the wax.

Anyone see a problem with this?

Sounds like it could be SHB larvae.

If the combs are slimed over and small larvae are present, sub for sure.
How long were they in the freezer? perhaps small hive beetle decimated your hive enough to weaken it to the point it got robbed out! :-\

You can wash them with a hose then put them in a strong hive they will clean um up.

They were in the freezer a week. The larva were smaller than small hive beetle.

Smaller than SHB as in newly hatched SHB? Imagine you have SHB.

I saw the frozen shb larva on the frames when they came out the freezer.

I will put them back in the freezer then put them back in the hive.
