Hey Beekeepers!!
Nice to meet you all here, in this internet based mega-hive!!
I'm Tony from Italy and i have just 80 hives that i follow for 4 honey crops, pollen and rearing queens. In the summer i work for another beekeeper too, with 400 hives. i threat my bee just with organic acids an I'll will start a top bar apiary for pollen and natural mating for the next season.
I love rearing queens with all methods but the Jay Smith is my favourite one.
Here, the standard hive is the Dadant Blatt 10 frames model and the law don't let us permit to make honey with frames that contained brood in the past, so  using a modular system like the Lang. is not permitted. This year I didn't use queen excluder and no brood was in the supers, so, here I'm an heretic  :-D :-D.
