A modest poll of how many hives you have right now  :bee:

edward

When I got over the 30 hive mark I felt that it made beekeeping more stable and opened opportunities to breed Queens and do more things with my bees.

But on other levels having 6 - 12 hives is also a lot of fun and educational getting to know the individual hives.

The more hive you have the less time you spend with each hive.  :-\

If you have 0 hives then you can't vote cause you don't have any. Or am I looking at this form the right side of the aisle? :-D

As much as it pains me to agree with Blue, , I see his point.

Although I like the current breakdown on the poll, I can see how it would be interesting to know how many folks visiting the forum are actually hive-less at the moment.  Even beyond that, it would be interesting to know how many of the "no hive" people are active beeks but may have lost all their hives, as opposed to how many are just researching and gearing up for their first hive.

Now if you don't have any hives but want some you can all so vote  :-D

I left out those who don't have and don't want any hives.

If I count mating nucs it tends to max out at about 400... if I only count full size hives, probably 200, in the spring probably less...
