Artificial Swarm Question

Going through one of my hives today and found Q cells. Guess I was just not thinking they had builded up that much with this up and down weather. Cells were not open but two were caped, looked around and found the old Q, put her in a NUC with some open and caped brood, honey and pollen. And took it to my daughters 6 miles away.

How long to I need to leave it before I bring it back to my bee yard?

Three more days.  That is all the longer memory bees have.  Did you reduce the number of queen cells?  I worry about what would be afterswarming and kill all the cells but two on the same frame.  That way I hope they won't swarm as they might if a bunch of virgins emerge.
