Do bees work crimson clover?

Yes, really good. only you have to plant every year. Get a good cover of the short white clover. let it go to seed every time before you clip it. It will be blooming again in 2 to 3 weeks. blooms all summer into fall, and during mild winters. d2

If you let the Crimson go to seed, it will come back.  We cut hay off mine, but wait until at least half has dry seed heads.  It has been here for 35 years now.  They do like white and yellow clover also.  Good luck

yes, they don't work "red clover" but it's not the same thing.

They do work red clover, but like anything else depends on what else is in bloom.  My red clover is just now blooming but they have found something else they like.

red clover blooms are too deep for the bees tongues.
