Hello,
I have installed a weather station very close to my apiary. I have live climate values live. I have available a few sensors and i want to program (experiment ) a swarm alarm visible from my websites. That's why i ask for sources ( articles or yours experience ). Is there any limit of temperature that colonies do or do not swarm ? What else did you notice about weather during swarm days ?

I have bees 4 years now and i have never had or seen a swarm ( lucky or unlucky ? )

Excellent idea! I am a bit of a gauge kind of guy also.

I got an email recently from Lee Valley re: a couple of cameras they sell that can do Time-Lapse & Motion-Activated photos. Looked quite interesting. Might also be useful to actually see what goes on all day and night.
