When I got back I couldnt gelp but check on the swarm hive, When I saw eggs and young brood, it was very little, last week, checked this evening and in my travels found plenty of brood, capped and uncapped, and......her. My second open mated queen of the season.  :chop:

"I dont know BG. that queen has a bit of a strange look to her...   I think you should send her to me, (postage paid) and let me run her through some tests.. you know, just to make sure she will do well for you in the future....     :-D

YES! We had a virgin queen (the one mentioned earlier) and she's BACK, HUGE, and an egg-laying mo-sheen! She's all marked up like a regular honey bee but with that limo body.... My big tigress.  :-D

Congrats!!, I have since found 2 more that have returned home safely, and are laying like mad!! This is the first year trying and I couldnt be more happy with the results. 80%. I just notched a frame for the mother hive that was unsuccessful in requeening. Hopefullty it works this time.  :chop:
