Rescued/captured a swarm in KC a few weeks ago.  Received a used deep and 10 frames.  The frames with established comb were accepted.  Although we sprayed sugar syrup on the naked plastic frames the girls would rather make "wild hive" two sided free hanging comb instead of drawing out the comb on the plastic.  I stuck some wax comb sheets on the plastic and they draw comb on these.  Comments??

Welcome to the forum.  That 2 sided free hanging comb is a result of too much space between your frames.   Push them close When you put ten in.  I spent a week in Lawrence 10 years or so ago.  They put me up in a nice hospital room at the university.  Last time I complained about a stomach ache...... Ruined a good hunting trip.   They did fix me though.
