Welcome to the forum and beekeeping.  :cheer: :cheer:

I suggest you see if there is a local beekeeping club near you. Many have mentoring programs where you can get a lot of one on one instructions.

You might add your state to your location profile so others will be able to help you on this forum.  -Mike
.
Listen to others but make your own decisions. That way you own the results.

When I first started my journey this past January one of the first sites I was on was the OSU Bee lab site, do a search and it should pop up on the top.  They have some very good webinars on that site.  Also there is a ton of info on YouTube. Brushy Mountain has a bunch of very good hour long webinars on YouTube.  But as for local I would have to think there is someone close by.  What I did was go to the local health food store and found raw local Honey.  The guys name was right on the jar along with his number.  He sold me my first nucs this spring.  If you find local honey and he is far away, I would bet he knows someone closer to you that would help.  Helping my Honey seller do his spring feeding, cleaning and rotations was one of the best things I did this year. A lot of work and free labor for him, but was worth a ton to me.
