Medicare Part G

You're a sick senior citizen and the government says there is NO nursing
home care available for you. So what do you do? Our plan gives anyone
65 years, or older, a gun (G) and 4 bullets. You are allowed to shoot four
Politicians. Of course, this means you'll be sent to prison, where you will
receive three meals a day, a roof over your head, central heating and air
conditioning and all the health care you need.  Need new teeth?  Not a
problem.  Need glasses?  That's great.  Need a new hip, knees, kidney,
lungs or heart?  They're all covered.
As an added bonus,  your kids can come and visit you at least as often as
they do now. And who will be paying for all of this? The same government
that just told you they can't afford for you to go into a home. And, you can
get rid of 4 useless politicians while you're at it. Plus, because you are a
prisoner, you don't have to pay any income taxes anymore. Is this a great
country or what?

Gotta love it!!!!

Sad but true..unless you get the wrong politician, in which case it's a death sentence.  The higher they are, the more damage they can do and the more they're protected by law.

I'd claim it was an accident. You know old people don't see too good and it is hunting season...
Quite difficult matters can be explained even to a slow-witted man, if only he has not already adopted a wrong opinion about them; but the simplest things cannot be made clear even to a very intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he already knows, and knows indubitably, the truth of the matter under consideration. -Leo Tolstoy

I have heard of senior citizens living on a cruise boat. It is cheaper than a home, meals included. If you get sick, there is a doctor on board.

They made a good movie back in 1979 with George Burns, Art Carney, Lee Strasberg and Charles Hallahan.  They do the math on their cost of living, their retirement income and their savings and realize they are going to run out of money so they decide to rob a bank and get caught.  They figure since none of them have a record they do a few years where they can get free medical and dental, no rent to pay, someone else doing the cooking and cleaning and laundry; and meanwhile their Social Security checks can be banked.  Then when they get out with their teeth fixed and some money in the bank they can live out their lives in relative financial security.  The only problem was they got away with the bank robbery...
