Looking to see if anyone has any experience or thoughts on "memberships" to places like U.S. Law Shield.  Lawyers that are guaranteed to represent you should you ever be involved in a situation where you use your firearm for defense.  Any experience or thoughts on the subject?

NRA used to keep a list of lawyers that would handle cases like this.  I've been on inactive status with the state bar for 10 years, so got off the list long ago.  Check with NRA or Texas State Rifle and Pistol Association in Austin.
