So I have put together my hive and all the frames and such, but when I put them into the super the spacing is weird. it almost looks like I can put an 11th frame into the super when the frames are all pushed completely over to the side. I hope this is something other people wonder, but is it supposed to be all the space on one side of all the frames, or is there supposed to be equal spacing between each frame?

Thanks
Talking to people will often come with more stings than talking to bees.

Is it a standard hive body? there will be a little extra space. just space them evenly across the box. d2

No, center the frames in the box, and make sure the frames are pushed together snugly, or they will make wonky comb..
I usually push all frames against one side, then use the hive tool to push them back toward the center, making sure the gap on each sie is the same.

Listen to old mech. You even space them only when it is drawn comb, never with foundation.

I second OldMech and Iddee:  frames set snugly against one another in the center with the extra space evenly divided between the two ends.

And yes, I use all 8 frame equipment but occasionally I can get an extra 9th frame in a few of the boxes.  That is why it is important to buy all your boxes from the same supplier as they can vary just a bit from supplier to supplier, though they are supposed to be standardized.
