November of last year was the last time he was active in here. I hope all is well.

He's my fb friend. He's just up the road 3 hours. I'll contact him and ask him to look in here.

"just up the road three hours" gives you folks on either coast an idea of how we in middle America (and probably Australia, as well) think of distance and "close neighbors."

Of course, depending on where you are, 3 hours may be just a commute to work.

Haha that is funny. TX is especially huge. I've driven 12 hours there and was still in TX. Lol In MT, 8 hours and I'm still in MT. In Germany I drive 5 hours and I'm in Italy. lol

Here in N FL, I can drive west or south for 6 hours and still bee in  Florida.

And when we go to New England, we could go through 5 states in 5 hours -- if we didn't stop at every lobster shack along the coast.   Maine south to north does take a while, though, especially having to stop at L.L. Bean in Freeport.

My wife would say: Lobster - LL Bean - Lobster - coast line - Lobster .......

I can drive west and a bit north for eight hours and still be in Nebraska... and I know of people there who drive eight hours almost every weekend to watch the Huskers play in Lincoln...

Tis for me - well 2 hours actual transport time but 3 hours with waiting for the train sometimes.

Yep living in the keys its a minimum of 10 hours to get out of the state and if I head toward TX on I-10 its 14 hrs before I hit Mississippi LOL......Florida isn't so wide but its pretty darn long top to bottom.

The USA is pretty awesome, isn't it? All of this room to roam within our own borders, and the vehicles and roads to enjoy it on. Different local flavor wherever you find yourself. The scenery is spectacular. We have got it so good!!! NC is not terribly tall from north to south. I-95 cuts through pretty quick. But this is a wide state from east to west. Coast to mountains takes around 4 hours, thanks to a really good road system.
