HI Everyone - I am a new beekeeper in the Southeastern part of Ontario.  I  live along the St Lawrence Seaway.  In May 2016, I purchased and established my first two hives. I am proud to say that they have had a great summer, despite the horrible drought.  No mites, no moths, no diseases.  All is well.  Every time I open up the hives, I am simply amazed at these little insects.  Looking forward to gleaning info and sharing a laugh or two.

Hey to the norhern snow Bunny's. Hope to hear how it works for the raising of cold climate bees. Wh?t is weather like and does it make for having to remove bees each year. I know that some areas of AK have to remove new bees and some can winter bees.

Good luck and welcome to to kribb of bees. It is addictive.
