Missing posts again

So even the "Missing Topics" topic has disappeared.
Yes if I go in through my name and look up my posts they are there, but how does anyone else comment or give feed back if they aren't on the main screen.
If I open them and they will be on the main screen but next day they are gone again.

The missing topics post was moved to the administration forum, where it needs to be. Maybe your other posts were in the wrong categories, too. This one will likely go there, too. It isn't about general beekeeping.

A lot of us just check Replies and New Posts. They will show up in the New Post.

If you don't remove or squish the undesirable queen when you add the cell, the cell may be torn down.
If the nuc or queenless hive draw a large number of queen cells, then you can transplant some but we are always happy to leave 2-3 to make sure one hatches and if they all hatch at once then the stronger queen will survive, we hope.
It was not my topic, it was a reply to the above topic started by some one else, this topic doesn't exist on the main page.
The other topic was " When to requeen" started by some one that I replied to.
Again not on the main board??

If I need directions to find them how does anyone else know where they are.
I browse the main board for interesting topics and open them rather than looking for specific topics in another section.
A lot of info is gained by random browsing, so why not leave them on the main board until they fall off the bottom due to lack of replies due to lack of interest by the addition of new topics at the top.
If the topic is of interest then it will maintain its position on the main board.

Because if I want info on raising queens, I am going to search the queen rearing forum, not the general beekeeping forum. Why should we have different headings if we are going to put all threads under only one?

PS. I'm surprised this one hasn't been moved, too. If it goes missing, you might want to look under the admin heading.

Dunno - it's just the way the forum has been laid out

Alongside the sub-forum headings is a paragraph of text explaining 'what goes where'.  In the Main Posting Forum chat it says: For more accurate posting, check below for several other forums which cover specific bee related issues.

Personally, I don't have enough available time for random browsing even if that is one way of increasing general knowledge - so the current layout works well for me.  Just takes a bit of getting used to, I guess.

If you get email notification of threads that you are subscribed to the link will take you to the thread where ever it is.
When you sign on you can brows any topic you like, click on new posts or replies.  Recent posts are not that hard to find on this site.

This, like every other forum I utilize, is organized by topic.  I IS the industry standard!
If every topic under discussion were in the "General" forum, can you imagine how confusing it would be?

When you want to see what others have posted to your thread, just click on the " [New Posts] [Replies] " at the top of the page and see if your post is in the "Replies". No matter where it was moved to, as soon as some adds to it it will be in that list.
