I am going to set up some feed for my bees. Besides them using eating it what should I be looking for from them? Increased activity or what?

First thing that pops into my mind is robbing. Probably because that is what's been doing my nucs in.
When the law no longer protects you from the corrupt, but protects the corrupt from you - then you know your nation is doomed.
