Robotic chipmunks

Hello beekeepers!
I'm posting here on behalf of the Robotic Chipmunks, a FIRST Lego League Robotics team from MidMichigan. In addition to programming an EV3 Lego robot, our team had to research a way that humans and animals can safely work together. Our team researched bee vacuums and used ideas from the posts on your forum to suggest some improvements to the standard bee vacuum, such as padded and clear walls, an internal camera to monitor the bees, and a straight tube to prevent bees from being injured as they're vacuumed. Thanks so much for your interesting posts!

I'm glad the forum is a help to others. I do see real world problems with all three of your bee vac improvements. Just saying that designing something behind a desk is far different than actually using one and working out the kinks that way.
Please don't take that as a criticism.
