Getting your garden ready for the spring

Spring time is my favorite time of the year for this reason. Now besides food I worry about planting things for bees. I worry about those bees just like I do about my pets pretty much.

How many acres are you planting for your bees. That is what it takes to help your bees. No need to worry about them. They will travel from 2 to 5 miles to find food. If you are in a residential area, your. Neighbors have probably planted what they need. If you really want to help them, plant nectar producing trees.

I am in the middle of the country. I am fruit trees and other trees for them. I am thinking about lining my barb wire fence that was just built with some type of bee friendly bush. I really wish I could find something that bloomed in July or August

I probably have total just over an acre of fruit trees, wild flowers, and planted perennials I have improved upon for my bees.
