Mediums or Shallows for honey supers

I think I am going to run mediums next year.

I ran deeps and shallows my first year per the books. I quickly realized the problem this creates with not being able to interchange frames and cut the deeps to mediums and added spacers to the shallows. Much easier with all mediums.

I might just run all mediums on all future hives. Right now I have deeps and an extra deep box for a swarm or a split. Perhaps next year I will get some carnolians (because I want them) and put them in mediums.
