yea, it has a saw on then end ( which wasn't on it) and a hook with a cutter gadget
pretty handy tool
here's a link, I think mine is longer than this one

That looked like a good size swarm. Did they stay in the Nuc.

#4
it's been 3 days and so far so good
I was running out of equipment, it's now 3, 5 frames nucs high, and they seem happy
gotta build more stuff
I've caught 4 in 4 weeks
when it got twilight I moved em 20 feet to a stand
a LOT of bees clustered on the outside of the box and I worried they were still in swarm mode
but it was a chilly night (down to about 40F) and they all moved inside
time will tell

here's a video after I moved em to a stand
a lot of bees clustering on the outside
but they seem to be happy 2 days later

3 nucs full, definitely a nice swarm. They will make a lot of honey for you this year.

that would be nice, but all I had to give them was foundation and we're in the middle of our main flow now

another swarm in my backyard today
pretty small, clearly an after swarm from the one the other day
they were in a difficult spot and by the time I got equipment together, they were gone
