So my brood box is booming - bees flying in and out- I put the super on. Does this constitute too much space for them?
I know they freak out over vacant spaces
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Then all else falls in line
It?s up to me

41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.

43 And he took it, and did eat before them.

if they are in need of space in the bottom box and are over crowding then you can put the super on. Is there a flow?

Salty,
It depends on what is on the frames, foundation less, foundation or drawn. I?m betting foundation so no it is not a problem. If they were drawn, it could bee a problem if the bottom box was not full.

Gotcha Jim - I don?t want to ruin another hive.
Our palmettos and Brazilian peppers are blooming but as far as a heavy flow I?d say medium

Can I put the lost / drawn frames from wax moth/ fails hive in the super I added to good hive?
I froze those frames for 5 days. If I?m adding wax comb to the super that has plastic foundation, is it better to put them 1-3 and 7-10 or put in the middle where they haven?t drawn any comb?
