Good thing your hive isnt trying to run away like mine 

Not to be overly particular, but only half your hive is trying to run away.    And that?s better than a whole hive running away, which happened to me last year.

Quick update as I've been away for a few days on business.  Deep brood box is almost fully used, only frame 1 is mostly empty but 2-7 are solid and 8 has a lot of bees on it.  I replaced the mason jar super with a regular 8 frame deep honey super above the excluder and in 4 days the middle 4 frames aren't full but have a lot of activity on them so I'm pretty happy about that.  I wasn't expecting that much honey this year but if this continues at this pace, there will be some for sure...
