It seems the bee "event" was recorded by one person only, and was not reported on by NPR, BBC, CBS, or similar journalists who fact-check.

Except, of course, for the part that says water full of 45,000 barrels of bourbon and thousands of decomposing fish "is not dangerous to people."

I would find me a nice mint patch along the riverbank and be sucking that little KY  river up by the handfuls. Smallmouth sushi in a bourbon mint sauce
