I just received a letter in the mail with a Mann Lake return address.  Inside was an invoice with Kelley Beekeeping address on top.  The invoice was for Brushy Mountain merchandise.  Tell me that ain't just a little screwed up.

WOW! Just for laughs, was the merchandise stamped made in china?  :cheesy:

I bet the merchandise was stamped Betterbee.  :cheesy:

Actually the plastic was made in Greece.

Yes, Mann Lake bought Kelley, and likely bought a lot of Brushy stuff at the auction. Maybe even the name, IDK..

It's just interesting that the brushy mountain stuff is only on the Kelley web site.  Also, it's interesting how the Kelley web site is morphing into Mann lake.  Loosing a lot of specialty items that Kelley used to sell.(such as foundationless frames).

Many times when a company grows very fast, there can be all sorts of heak-ups which suddenly appear.  I am hopeful that the folks at Man Lake will strive to make sure that customer service will be their priority number one as many beekeepers depend on them. I love the Ultra-Bee Pollen Substitute that they carry.  I have also found a supplier in Georgia which has excellent service that I have tried. Equal to or better than the service that Man Lake has been known for.
