Anybody know the weight of an empty 10 frame langstrof hive with lid, bottom and 2 deeps?  Just approximate weight is all I am looking for, plus or minus say 5 pounds??  No bees, no honey, just waxed out frames hive body lid and bottom??

Thank you.

I have been around bees a long time, since birth.  I am a hobbyist so my answers often reflect this fact.  I concentrate on genetics, raise my own queens by wet graft, nicot, with natural or II breeding.  I do not sell queens, I will give queens  for free but no shipping.

I use a DSBB, screen top board, Telescoping top,10 frames deep.  This weighs usually 32- 35 pounds.  No foundation or comb.

Solid bottom, 10 rames drawn comb, deep box, wood inner and tele. outer, 35 lb.
