Hi
I had someone requested to remove a established colony, residing inside a weatherboard wall of old shed
I have been told that bees living for 5 years. I was also told that they are aggressive to people who go close to the entrance while lawn mowing.
Would that bee worth a job to do so, I am concern these would be aggressive bees
Relocating in urban backyard might be nuicence to neighbours and kids.

Any advise would be appreciated

Thanks

Charge a minimum 450 AUS. dollars for the job, then requeen them. It is a 3 to 9 hour job for 2 people, so don't do it for free.

It is also 30 days of aggressive bees to deal with back at the homestead.

New queen will settle them down some, and the aggressiveness may be coming from something at the shed.
A few hundred bucks makes it worthwhile and if they are too aggressive at home, they can always be taken care of there.
