This informative video from "Bee Lab" popped up and it was worth watching!

Thanks Mr. Ben.  I have never had to deal with AFB or lesser concern EFB.  I already have a plan to deal with spore forming AFB.  I would rather not say as my plan is harsh.

All good things.
I have been around bees a long time, since birth.  I am a hobbyist so my answers often reflect this fact.  I concentrate on genetics, raise my own queens by wet graft, nicot, with natural or II breeding.  I do not sell queens, I will give queens  for free but no shipping.

I have not either Mr Van. We know of one sure cure.

Good video Phillip.
I have never had AFB but a friend?s daughter bought 3 hives from a commercial beekeeper 2 years later the bee Inspecter had to burn all three hives. Here in Florida, less than 1 percent of inspected hives end up with AFB. This is due to the the heavy inspection program that we have had for a couple of decades. This is pretty good considering most of the commercial bees over winter here in Florida.

Jim, that was a tough break for the daughter. Somehow, with the small percentage of AFB problems found, this does not seem fair. I hope she did not give up on beekeeping.

Yes, she never got any more bees.
