Hi! I'm new to beekeeping. Located in North Texas.
I've had my hive for two weeks, urban setting. I originally had an entrance feeder, but that led to robbing the third day that I had my hive. That was NOT fun as a new beekeeper to deal with! haha.
When I took my hive home, it was nearly ready for the second brood box, as it's a pretty well established hive.

I've ordered a division board feeder.

My question is - should I put my division board feeder in the bottom brood box or would it be okay to put it in the top/second one?

Thanks, yall!

Hi lol, welcome to beemaster! Glad to have you. A little friendly advice. You might want to change your name. We have a habit here of friendly calling each just a part of our name. I wouldn't want folks to answer you as your middle name! lol

I put my frame feeder, when needed, in the top box next to the outer wall.

Hahah, Thank you for the advice on both the name and the placement of the board feeder! I have so much to learn. :)

OhMy,
Welcome to Beemaster.
Put the frame feeder in the top hive only. The reason is when you need to add sugar water you can do so with minimum distance of the bees if it is in the top box.
