I have searched this area and see that one way to post pictures is to upload them to a web site like photo bucket where I can get (I guess this is what it is called) a URL which I can then paste into the -img--img- location.  Does that actually put my pic into the post?

I have these digital pics on my pc.  Anyway to upload them directly from my computer or camera to a post on this forum without posting them on the web first?  Please be very simple in your answer as I may not be able to follow it otherwise.  Thanks. Lauren

Beelady:

The best system here is Imageshack - you should see it just above the link you click to post your message.

Here is the link for a walk-thru tutoral, but click on browse, find your image on your drive click on host it and  click on and copy link, then paste it in your post - look at the images Robo put together and it will make sense. The image (as you asked) is uploaded to the imageshack site (stays in your computer of course) but stays hosted online - thus keeping our site image storage to a minimum.

PS - try to keep all pics around 100K if possible - image shack allows BIG PICS, but if you host them for here PLEASE choose the thumbnail option. Best wishes.

Its a tarantualized honey bee - wish I had the picture of the tarantula hawks that come after these tarantulas - they are impressive!
