how much is toooo much

just wondering -- can you go in to your hives to much-- it is a lot of fun checking them out ,looking at them work and play  - if i go in the hive to much will they move out  and find a new place to live

I find it good to let the bees be bees let them do there job.I knoow it is very interesting checking those bugs though

I was wondering the same thing.  I opened my hives the day before yesterday and had to fight with myself today to leave them alone.  I guess it slows them down a bit every time you open the hive.

I try not to bother mine unless I have a reason to take a look see.
I have read that one day in the hive will set them back 2 or 3 days.
And yes, I think disturbence does have an effect on them

this is why no one should start with one hive.
some say that ONLY AN INSPECTION stresses the colony for..2 weeks. god forbid you swap some frames.
