When Should Bearding Be Addressed?

I have been looking through the old post on bearding and just looking for a little closure.
My thinking is that bearding is natural and a little bearding for a few hours after sundown is not a problem?
What bearding situation requires action from the beekeeper?
Ventilation reduces bearding, but can ventilation also cause problems?  For example, where I am at in California it is hot in the day 95F but at night drops down to 57F and we have no humidity.  With a vented top might that be a bit chilly?

Any thoughts?

Hey Patric put a little wedge under the lid a small crack will give them some ventillation

Anytime I see bearding I try to make sure they are not out of room and they have plenty of ventilation.  On really hot days there is always a little.  But there should not be a lot.
