I was curious if an aluminum tank would be okay to use as a sump tank for the honey to be pumped from. Or does anyone have pics or plans that worked for the as a sump tank that can be heated?

If your going to heat it you need to go with stainless steel.

Stainless steel for sure.  Try Walter T Kelley Clarkson Kentucky
1-800-233-2899 Ask about their water jacketed stainless steel sump.

Honey is acidic.  I think anything metal that is not stainless is a bad idea.
