Cindi

egehan.  Some very beautiful pictures, I love the look of the dark queens, they are pretty.  Have a wonderful day, great life, Cindi
There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service

Micci, maybe I missed something. Where does it say, "laying queen"?
She looks like a virgin to me.
"To bee or not to bee"

Mici

hmmm, it doesn't but...her lenght says laying. the two virgin queens i've seen were muuuch much smaller than this one. although you might be right, she does look rather slim.
but..virgin queens are FAST (again the two i've seen and what i heard), plus she's checking a cell (it might mean nothing though)
i don't know...i'd put my money on the laying side of the table.

That's a great picture. The queen looks pretty dark, is she a Carniolan?
A swarm in May is worth a bale of hay.
A swarm in June is worth a silver spoon.
A swarm in July isn't worth a fly.
