Georgia National Fair

I just returned from the Ga National Fair where I helped worked the bee booth with my mentor. I had lots of fun, especially with the kids and the observation hive. I spoke lots of beebonics tonight. I think I will go and work another shift!

It's the one in Perry, South on I-75 below Macon.

How long does this go on? I have seen the fairgrounds from I-75 when heading to atlanta. I will be going to atlanta again tuesday and would stop by.

I haven't checked but I think you're talking about the one at Moultrie. It is a Yearly event.

The fair in Perry is called the Ga National Fair. The Ga State fair is held in Macon the week before the Perry fair. The Macon Ga. fair was once "the fair" in middle Georgia. The Perry fair has almost put it out of business. The Perry fair grounds is very clean, safe, and easy to access; a first class operation.

Steve, good for you, I bet that you are having a blast!!!! I wish we had some kind of large fair here in the fall. Our big fair comes at the end of August in Vancouver, its called the Pacific National Exhibition and it is indeed grand!!!
