i fed a couple of my hives last week and when i looked at them yesterday it looked like they haven't touched it much. but maybe because it was fairly chilly last week. we'll see since this week will be warmer.

Randy, or......maybe they have enough winter stores and are not needing any extra food?

I remember last year when I was feeding my colonies, there became a point in time when they simply were not taking any more.  They had had enough.  Have a wonderful and excellent life and day.  Cindi

Mine have slowed way down in taking the syrup, the weather has turned ugly, so I will stop feeding as they evidently have as much stores has they can hold at the moment, which should be enough to over winter.

Fed mine some 2 to 1 the other day and they never touched it. Plenty of bees flying so there must be a small flow going on here  :-D

yes...plenty of flying here to. the weather has been unseasonably warm although still very dry. I've seen the bees working basil flowers a lot and drinking from pet waterers.
