I'm looking to tamper-seal wide-mouth jars and can't seem to find any shrink bands.   Anyone have a link/referral??

For those who might not know, this is what a shrink band is/does ~>

TIA,
Dane

Betterbee has them.

errr...  which one fits wide-mouth jars?  Are their measurement listings for the diameter?  :?  If so, this one seems like it will work ~> "150 mm. PVC Sleeves:  Fits 89 mm..." (61mm is quite some shrinkage %!)

Depends on how wide-mouthed the jars are - what is that dimension?

The typical Mason/Ball wide-mouth canning jars are what I'm using.  3.5" (89mm) diameter is what they are and why I'm guessing the 150mm will work (only because the betterbee website says so - I would not have guessed to get a band ~60% larger than the shrunk size).

Ah, I getcha.  Shrink-wrap really does shrink right down under heat, though, I've used it before - not on honey jars, but at a job way back when.  I think you'll be all set with these, and you can use a hair dryer, so you won't be overheating the honey with a heat gun.
