If I use a fume board on top do I still need to put a bee escape under the super ?
We are talking about only 3 hives so I hoped that I would monitor them close enough
that they would not go back up before I pulled the supers.
Thanks

Dont worry they wont sometimes i think they get kind of dazed by the fumes -they will hang out on the outside of the boxes for sometime -of course you know that it needs to be warm outside to work-RDY-B

If you use a fume board on top be SURE you DO NOT use a bee escape under it.  That would be a very bad idea.  It's an either or.  If you do both the fumes will cause the bees to want to do a mass exodus and the bee escape will cause a major traffic jam.
