Yeah i watched tha ti thought it was very good, perhaps all new beekeepers should be made to watch it

I thought this video was great. Mr. Williams is obviously a little crowd shy (or maybe just camera shy), but his blend of humor and straight up telling it like it is make this a great presentation. His matter-of-fact statement that your bees are going to die helps to encourage emotional detachment from any bee, queen, or hive, while still caring enough to take the best care of them that's possible. Getting worked up over any deaths is only unnecessary stress. It also shows the value of multiple hives...you're less invested in any one hive if you still have others doing fine.

In my estimation, things warm up for him about a month earlier, or more, than they do for me. I can't imagine anything blooming here in February. The rest seems about the same (with my whole 3 seasons of experience).
